We currently have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Account Executive in our Arlington, VA office.
Summary:
As an Account Executive, you will manage the implementation of the Client’s marketing plans/communications strategy through individual projects. Must be detail-oriented and be able to manage multiple projects at once and report to the Account Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Account management and leadership
Maintains direct communication with Client and serves as Agency liaison with Client marketing staff
Secures Client briefings
Coordinates Client approval of estimates, copy, design and production art
Assists with the development and implementation of client marketing and advertising campaigns.
Analyze Client input, together with background knowledge, research, and field background to produce full communication plans.
Keep apprised of all relevant Client products/services and market developments
Present communication plans, concepts and media plans to the Client
Ascertains Client project status through relevant personnel
Briefing creative and media staff
Coordinates Account Coordinator responsibilities
Checks and approves copy, design, and production
Directs creative, production, media and other necessary personnel
Supports other personnel in the presenting and selling of plans
Checks and approves materials developed in creative, production and media departments
Analyzes Client input and research
Provides background knowledge
Provides field feedback
Oversees cost proposals for Client approval
Along with traffic department, ensures timetables are provided for each project
Coordinates, authorizes and provides Clients with estimates and budget updates
Requirements/skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, or related field of study
Time management, analytical, strategic thinking/processing, knowledge of total advertising process
The ability to multi-task on numerous accounts or campaigns
Experience analyzing complex data, market research and formulating actionable plans
Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
