We currently have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Account Supervisor in our Arlington, VA office.
Summary:
Leads day-to-day operations and long-term planning for key accounts. Maintains mid and top-level client contact. Ensures assigned accounts receive appropriate service and resources from internal departments, resulting in account stability. Acts internally as client champion and ensures strategy is maintained across all agency output.
Key Responsibilities:
Account management and leadership
Manage, train, develop and supervise a team of up to five individuals to ensure quality client service and product
Provides internal team with guidance and analysis of client input, together with background knowledge, research and field research to effectively and efficiently implement programs
Encourages and directs growth of skills and training for supervised team
Manages vendor relationships to ensure quality service and fulfillment of agreement/contract obligations
Regularly communicates with Account Director
Directs operations and oversees the development and implementation of all advertising efforts
Supports creative, production, media and other key personnel, when necessary
Maintains continual communication with agency departments to foster good relationships and strategic work
Provides documented input including strategy briefs, problem briefs, media briefs, job requests, change orders and briefs appropriate staff
Oversees project plans to ensure quality work is being delivered on-time and on-strategy
Provides support data including mark-ups & samples
Checks and approves copy, design, and production
Sets program strategy and communicates to internal/external teams
Assists in the preparation of cost proposals/invoices for client approval
Works with team to provided ROI, budget and other program reports on a regular basis
Client Management
Maintains active liaison with middle/senior Client management
Develops relationship of trust and positive rapport with client POCs
Stays current on client and market developments
Keeps agency up to date on key developments and insights from the client
Identifies opportunities for improvements or integration across advertising programs
Proactively identifies agency performance issues or potential risks with client account direction
Brings potential issues to leadership in a timely manner to determine best solution to recommend to clients
Generates new ideas and proposals in support of agency revenue and account growth
Requirements/skills:
Bachelors degree in Communication, Marketing or Advertising or related field
6+ years agency experience
Demonstrated success and experience in leading, mentoring, and developing a team
Event marketing experience is a plus
Exceptional oral and written communication, and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
